Nursery Rhymes You Forgot About
THANK YOU:
Thanks so much for attending my presentation this past weekend at the Jackson Area Early Childhood Conference at Baker College! I enjoyed singing and learning with you.
HOW TO ADD MUSIC THERAPY TO YOUR PROGRAM:
Harmony Garden Music Therapy Services provides music therapy groups in ALL early childhood settings – day care, preschools, and GSRP programs. We also provide a variety of professional development programs for staff – classroom music station development, sign language trainings, and the session you attended to help staff become more comfortable with using nursery rhymes in the classroom.
Early Childhood Standards of Quality specifically outline the use of creative arts in early childhood programming. We would LOVE to help you find a way to add our music therapy program to YOUR facility! We will also do a free presentation and group for your classroom of children, all you have to do is ask!
NURSERY RHYMES YOU FORGOT ABOUT MATERIALS:
I hope you enjoyed the presentation about Nursery Rhymes You Forgot About, and that you are able to use some material we sang together, immediately in your classroom. The adaptations are a lot of fun, so allow yourself the time to try them and have fun interacting with the children. The more you enjoy yourself, the more they will as well!
The adaptation song “Jack and Jill Got Up!” was written by Jaime Lawrence. You can find it on our YouTube Channel to watch or use any time! There are some other songs on our channel as well that your children may enjoy. We will be adding more soon!
FEEDBACK:
I love getting feedback on the session, so please feel free to send me an email with any tips, suggestions or things you liked about our session. You can contact me here any time.
