Taylor is originally from the suburbs of Chicago, but came to Michigan in 2019 to attend Western Michigan University. During her time at Western, she majored in both music therapy and psychology and served as a leader in the Bronco Marching Band for 4 years. She was also involved in WMU’s chapter of United Sound, and worked as a direct support professional for adults with disabilities at WMU’s Center for Disability Services. After finishing her coursework, she completed her music therapy internship at FAR Therapeutic Arts and Recreation in Birmingham, MI, where she worked with both children and adults with disabilities in the school setting and at the FAR office. In 2024, she became a board-certified music therapist and graduated from Western with her Bachelor’s degree in music therapy.Taylor currently resides in East Lansing with her partner, Michael, and her two cats, Clyde and Agnes. Outside of work, she enjoys going to yoga classes, playing board games, rock climbing, and volunteering in her community.
