Making music therapy and early childhood music education accessible to all families and individuals, regardless of financial circumstances
OUR COMMITMENT
At Harmony Garden, we believe that quality music therapy and early childhood music experiences should be accessible to everyone, from birth through hospice care.
In 2021, we formalized our commitment with a comprehensive Diversity and Inclusion statement. But words alone weren’t enough—we created the Harmony Garden ECOsphere to ensure our actions match our values.
The ECOsphere represents our dedication to breaking down financial barriers and creating pathways for all community members to experience the transformative power of music therapy and early music education.
Accessible early childhood music classes for families who need financial support.
Reduced-fee and free music therapy sessions for those who need it most through our FUMC Scholarship.
Over 60 partial scholarships awarded since Fall 2023
Building inclusive communities through accessible music programs
ECOSPHERE PROGRAMS
Our ECOsphere initiative operates through two complementary branches, both abbreviated as E.C.O., reflecting our commitment to nurturing growth and sustainability in our community.
Our Early Childhood Outreach initiative makes music education accessible to families who might not otherwise afford it. Through our Sprouts Classes, we provide young children with opportunities to develop socially, emotionally, and cognitively—all while fostering joy and connection.
Program Benefits:
Accessible early music education for all families
Enhanced cognitive, social, and emotional development
Inclusive community building across diverse backgrounds
Increased awareness of music therapy benefits
The Jackson FUMC Scholarship ensures that individuals who truly benefit from music therapy can access it, regardless of financial barriers. Through reduced-fee or free sessions, our community sponsor helps bring the healing power of music therapy to those who need it most.
