Client Highlight: Shane

We value our clients and families and are honored that they have continued to support Harmony Garden and everyone who works here. With this new series, Client Highlights, we hope that the public can see a little bit more into what music therapy and music can do.

Our first client highlight is Shane. Shane has been attending Harmony Garden since 2013 and has been our instrument cleaner for the past 4+ years. He takes great pride in his work and enjoys telling everyone that he spends part of his Fridays cleaning for us. Of course, we appreciate everything that he does around the office and just knew he would be the perfect person to help us kick-off our client spotlights!

Shane has attended many of our groups: from drop-in music therapy to our Creative Connections Day Program. He has performed solos during the Day Program concerts, attended New Song Music Therapy Camp, and gotten to know (probably) every therapist that has walked through Harmony Garden’s doors. All of our therapists have enjoyed making music with him and his helpful, kind personality.
