Masking Policy Update (effective April 1, 2022)
As of April 1st, 2022 Harmony Garden is updating our masking policy based on the newest CDC recommendations and guidelines. Dependent on Jackson County COVID numbers, we will no longer be requiring masking for our on-site early childhood groups and music therapy sessions (Sprouts, Day Programs, individual sessions, adapted lessons, etc.).
The CDC is recommending a masking model based on COVID community levels: low, medium, and high (reference here: (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/covid-by-county.html?fbclid=IwAR3Jmew03PUPwKdiqy_Q5dBS_Gnk01y6Zdq4BFUXqrgBeirNGzw_d1ZmVPE)) When our county is in the low or medium community level, no masks will be required. Whenever our county goes into the high level, masks will be again required immediately for all on-site sessions and classes. A sign on our front door will indicate current community levels and our staff will be diligent in continuing to check the CDC website for COVID numbers.
This masking policy applies to clients, families, caregivers, aides, and our own staff. Masking will be personal preference for our Harmony Garden staff on-site in group settings. If an individual client is more comfortable with their therapist continuing to mask, all requests to mask will be honored immediately. Harmony Garden staff will continue to mask in off-site contract locations.
