We are so excited to be bringing back our Harmony Garden Sprouts Intergenerational Music Classes!!

We started running these Intergenerational Sprouts in 2018. They were picking up quite the momentum when March 2020 shut it all down. It felt like these kinds of groups with littles, moms, and “Grandfriends” would never exist again… I’m so glad to report that we are BRINGING THEM BACK!!

This session of classes is being hosted by Thome PACE. The “Grandfriends” who attend respite services at Thome PACE will be participating along with the early childhood aged children and moms from our community. The participants at Thome PACE will love singing, playing, and making music with you and your child! We all know that young children have an endless amount of energy and we hope that these groups will allow the “Grandfriends” to absorb a little bit of their energy and life!

What to expect in an Intergenerational Music Class.

This is a “mommy and me” style class where the caregiver attends and participates along with their child. Thome PACE is hosting this group for their day program participants or “Grandfriends.” The music will be interactive and structured similarly to our Harmony Garden Sprouts classes. They will sing, dance, play instruments, and so much more! However, with the grandfriends present, we will be incorporating some wider generational favorites and encouraging the children to interact with and provide energy and life for all of the grandfriends in the room!
